NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is an offline entrance exam held across the North Eastern States (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura). This entrance exam is conducted by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) for admission to , BTech LE, BSc (Hons) in Forestry, and certificate courses. NEE-I, NEE-II and NEE-III are held for admission to certificate courses, BTech & BSc (Hons) in Forestry, and BTech Lateral Entry respectively. The NEE-II is conducted with a single question paper of 150 marks of three hours duration. NEE-II (PCM) is held for candidates aspiring to take admission in BTech courses and NEE-II (PCB) is for candidates seeking admission to BSc (Hons) in Forestry. Candidates who qualify NEE, have to appear for the counselling rounds conducted by NERIST for admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Age limit:<\/strong> The maximum Age limit as of 31st July of the current academic year is 23 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after 1st August 2002), 26 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August 1999) and 28 years for ST\/SC\/PD (born on or after 1st August 1997).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          NERIST NEE 2025 Exam Pattern<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is conducted as a pen and paper-based test. The NERIST NEE 2025 question paper will be different for three different modules – Diploma Module of Technology Stream, Degree Module of Technology, and Degree Module of Forestry. The question paper of NEE will consist of 125 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
