The Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) Exam is a state-level entrance test conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala. It is the gateway to admission into B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, MBBS, and other professional courses in colleges across Kerala.

 Key Points:

  • Negative Marking: –1 for incorrect answers.
  • Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes per Paper (Total 5 Hours).
  • Paper 1 (Physics & Chemistry)& Paper 2 (Mathematics) are conducted on different days.

Pro Tip: Time management is crucial. KEAM has more questions than JEE Main but is comparatively easier!

To appear for KEAM 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification
For B.Tech: Must have passed Class 12 (PCM stream) with at least 45% in Mathematics and PCM subjects.
For B.Pharm: Must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics as subjects.

2. Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2025.
No upper age limit!

3. Domicile Requirement
Keralite Category: Full state quota benefits.
Non-Keralite Category I (NK-I): Eligible for some seats in private colleges.
Non-Keralite Category II (NK-II): Limited eligibility for self-financing colleges.

KEAM syllabus is based on NCERT Class 11 & 12 topics.
