The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad Undergraduate Entrance Examination, popularly known as IIITH UGEE, is conducted once every year in 1 session via online Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Students must note that the IIITH UGEE exam 2025 is conducted only one time annually in a single session for a period of 180 minutes (3 hours). It is an online CBT – Computer Based Test wherein candidates are required to answer the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) asked in English language. There will be 4 choices given for each question asked, out of which only one correct option needs to be selected.

According to the IIITH UGEE Exam Pattern there will be 2 sections in the question paper namely, Subject Proficiency (SUPR) and Research Aptitude (REAP) which are to be solved within a duration of 60 minutes & 120 minutes respectively. In the test, 25% negative marking for wrong answers will be applicable in both the section

Applicants who will qualify the IIITH UGEE exam will be eligible for taking admission in the 5-year Dual Degree Program in B.Tech / B.Tech (Hons.) and Master of Science (M.S) by Research in various specialisations like CSE, ECE, CS, etc.

In order to appear for the entrance test, candidates are required to fulfil the below-given IIITH UGEE Eligibility Criteria 2025:

Academic Qualifications

Students must have completed 10+2 / any equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects.

As per the IIITH UGEE exam eligibility criteria, students who are appearing in the specified final examination are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

Age Limit

The conducting body (IIITH) has not prescribed any minimum or maximum age limit for appearing in the IIITH UGEE Exam.

There are 2 sections in the IIITH UGEE exam 2025 namely, Subject Proficiency (SUPR) & Research Aptitude (REAP). Students are suggested to follow the syllabus for completing the topics of both the sections timely & to get enough time to revise the topics.

The syllabus willbe based on the CBSE and State Board’s11th & 12th standard curriculum. The syllabus for the REAP section will typically consist of the topics that tests the critical & creative thinking abilities of the students.

The IIITH UGEE 2025 registration date will be tentatively 2nd Week of February 2025 till 1st Week of April 2025. The application form will be available at the official website of the exam i.e., “ugadmissions.iiit.ac.in” The IIITH UGEE 2025 Registration fee is Rs. 2500/- for the male candidates & Rs. 1250/- for the female candidates respectively.

To register, candidates must fill in their basic details such as full name, mobile number, email address, and other details & create a password for login. After successful registration, they need to fill in the details asked in the application form & make the fee payment.

The result is due to be released while the 2nd week of May 2025. The result is available on the official page. The candidates will be needed to go through the admit card no and the password. Those who have qualified will be sought to take part in the interview round.

The candidate’s list is also referred to as a merit list will be prepared following the interview round based on candidates’ achievements in the exam and the interview. The Result is given online.
