Rajasthan LEEP 2025

Rajasthan LEEP (Lateral Entry in Engineering Program) is a state-level entrance exam managed by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota, on behalf of the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan. Admission is based on a merit list prepared by RTU, without a separate test. The counselling process includes online registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and physical reporting and admission at the allotted institute. 

Registration for Rajasthan LEEP 2025 is expected to begin in the last week of June 2025, with 139 colleges in Rajasthan participating to offer B.E./B.Tech admissions in various disciplines. There will be approximately four rounds of seat allotment based on seat availability, and direct admission to participating colleges is not permitted.

LEEP 2025 is conducted for enrolling students in various government-supported, and privately-funded institutions of Rajasthan. Candidates must verify their eligibility before seeking admission through LEEP 2025
Non fulfilment of eligibility activity can lead to the rejection of the candidature at any stage of the counselling process.

  • Educational Qualification:
  • Diploma Holders
  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject MUST have passed a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) from an AICTE approved institution.
  • Minimum marks requirements:
  • General Category: 45%
  • SC/ST/Non-Creamy Layer OBC/Non-Creamy Layer SBC applicants of Rajasthan: 40% of the total number of seats.

B.Sc. Degree Holders
 

  • Science Graduate (B.Sc.) with Mathematics with at least 45% marks
  • SC, ST, Non-Creamy Layer OBC, SBC Category: 40% Marks Participating in a new type of test (except for Typing in Hindi Test)
  • B.Sc. In addition to second-year subjects, holders should clear Practical Geometry/Machine Drawing and Engineering Mechanics in the first year Engineering program
  • Admission for B.Sc. Applicants are subject to confirmation of the holders only when the relevant subjects have been passed.

Medical Fitness:

Medical Fitness Certificate

Have to be submitted at the assigned institution at the time of reporting.

Certified by a Medical Officer of the Government of Rajasthan or a Registered Medical Practitioner as fit according to medical standards.

Medical Fitness Requirements:

Height:

Male applicants: Minimum 1.5m

Female Applicants: 1.4m

Weight:

Male applicants: Minimum 41kg

Female Applicants: 37kg at least

Heart & Lungs: Normal in Male & Female applicants.

Chest Measurements (Male candidates only): Minimum 69 cm with 5 cm expansion.

Vision: vision could be meeting normal vision standards for both male and female candidates. If defective, then corrected to 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the defective eye. Without any congenital or other disease. Mining Engineering No colour blindness.

Speech: Normal.

Normal hearing or appropriately corrected

The certification should be with a statement that the candidate is fit medically to serve in the engineering field.

  • Eligible Male candidates can apply for this rally from all over India.
  • Class A: candidate or guardian ought to be bonafide inhabitant of Rajasthan.
  • CATEGORY B: He/She has undergone a regular course of education in any recognized educational institution of Rajasthan including the three years of qualifying course.
  • Category C: Parent of the applicant is/was a Govt. of Rajasthan employee (serving/retired).
  • Undertakings/Corporations/Improvement Trusts/Municipal Boards/Panchayat Samities/Co-operative Bodies formed by the Government of Rajasthan.
  • Statutory Bodies and Corporations of Rajasthan, or an organisation jointly owned or incorporated in Rajasthan by the Indian Companies Act.

Candidates have to be working in Government Aided Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan for a minimum of three years as on the last date of submitting the application.

Vacancy: Category C (Additional): Applicant’s parent who is a Defence/ Central & Public Sector employee/ Govt of India undertaking for not less than 3 (three) years as on the date of application submission with a certificate from the employer stating the State of origin and hometown.

Miscellaneous: Only Rajasthan Domicile candidates are eligible in case of children of Ex-Servicemen / Defence-Killed Personnel. Not eligible for international travel after obtaining the Resident/Working Permit: Will requested the State of origin and Originated Local Government Area to be brought in On production of High school leaving certificate after completion the person must tender final have photo copy of the document A copy of will submitted and will be final.

  • Ensure that all requests are made and necessary corrections in the application fee, such as name and personal details.
  • Keep the following documents/papers ready before the application form:

  • Once the form is submitted, no changes will be allowed in the form. Correct all edits before submitting the form.

Rajasthan LEEP 2025 Syllabus (Available in Hindi). The syllabus for the Rajasthan LEEP exam will be published for the candidate soon before the examination. Candidates must refer to the complete syllabus of Rajasthan LEEP 2025. The entrance exam consists of questions from Mathematics, related to Mathematical concepts, and problem-solving skills; Physics, on principles, theories and applications of Science; English, on grammar, comprehension and language usage; and Chemistry, on the knowledge of chemical reactions, properties, periodic table.

Candidates whoever applied and attended the exam must check their results.

Accessing the Result:

  • The Rajasthan LEEP 2025 Result will be posted by the university on the official website of the organization.
  • Candidates have to use their application number and password to check the result
  • Keep the final result for later referencing.

Seat Allotment:

Next after choice filling and locking stage(iteration) after declaration of seat allotment.

Based on the Merit List & Locked Choices, the seat has been allotted to the candidates.

Availability of Seat Allotment Results On the official Website

Candidates need to download the allotment letter from the official website, no offline mode, i.e. by post, will be provided for the same.

Reporting by the candidates against 1st Round Counseling at the Institute, payment of Fees, uploading of documents, Seat allotment letter etc.

Rounds of Seat Allotment:

  • Second—Round upon availability of seats
  • Because of reasons like the false information, the seat allotment can be either withdrawn or cancelled.
  • Visit the allotted institute for cancellation of the allotment.
  • The last date for withdrawal is July 31.
  • Withdrawal on or before July 31: The deducted Rs. 1000 ( fees for advanced rounds) will be refunded.
  • Withdrawal July 31 or later: No refund.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute:

  • Document verification. 2nd round seat allotment letter.
  • Taking time and Date for reporting mentioned on the allotment letter.
  • Documents: Certificates Verification, Mark sheets, Birth Certificate, Category & Domicile Certificate.
  • If you do not report, your seat will be canceled.
  • Please Note: Fees shall be nonrefundable as per AICTE norms.

Rajasthan LEEP 2025 Counselling & Seat Allotment Procedure will start in the 2nd week of August 2025 organized by the official authority. All such information about the schedule and the counselling procedure will be released on the official site where the candidates will get notified. Separate notifications will not be sent to candidates. As the counselling rounds will be conducted, candidates will be provided with the seat in the desired course.
