Maharashtra JEE Main is an important entrance exam for students aspiring to secure admission to engineering colleges in Maharashtra and across India. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for JEE Main, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed or be appearing in Class 12 or equivalent
- Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for B.Tech/B.E
- Age Limit: No specific age limit
- Number of Attempts: A candidate can appear for both sessions in a year and attempt JEE Main for three consecutive years after Class 12.
- State Quota: Maharashtra state candidates may also apply for state engineering colleges through JEE Main.
Syllabus
The syllabus is based on Class 11 & 12 NCERT curriculum. The key topics include:
- Physics: Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Thermodynamics, Electromagnetic Waves, Modern Physics, etc.
