SLIET SET 2025 

The Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) Entrance Test (SET) is a university-level exam for admission into various programs like ICD, B.E. (Lateral Entry), M.Tech, M.Sc, and Ph.D. at SLIET, Punjab. 

Eligibility Criteria

Integrated Certificate Diploma (ICD)

• For 3-year ICD: Must have passed Class 10 (Mathematics, Science, and English are compulsory).
• For Lateral Entry (ICD 2nd Year): Must have passed Class 10 along with:
  • Full-time 2-year ITI certificate OR
  • 10+2 (Vocational) in a relevant trade with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) and 2 years of industrial experience.

B.E. (4-Year Program)

• Admission is based on JEE Main 2025 and counseling through JoSAA/CSAB.

B.E. (Lateral Entry)

• Diploma holders (AICTE-approved) with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) can apply.
• Final-year diploma students can also apply.

M.Tech.

• Must have B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc (Engg.) with 60% marks (55% for reserved categories) and a valid GATE score.

M.Sc.

• Requires B.Sc. degree with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).

Ph.D.

• Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/Humanities/Management with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories)​
