PES Institute of Technology and Management lies amidst the greenery of a 49-acre campus on the Sagar Main Road, Shivamogga where one can be creative, read, learn and relax in such an enticing environment. The institution runs under the auspices of Prerana Educational & Social Trust. The Prerana Educational & Social Trust was established in the year 2007, under the inspiring leadership of Late Dr. M.R. Doreswamy, Chairman of the premier PES Group of Institutions. Continuing the successful legacy set by the front-running institution of PES in Bangalore, PES-Shivamogga is groomed by the efficient value systems derived through rich experience in the education sector of the intellectuals within the PES Group.

It is an educational institution focused on offering high-quality education in engineering, technology, and management. We provide a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed to combine academic excellence with practical experience.

The Undergraduate Programs offered are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering(Data Science), Computer Science and Design. The PG Programs offered are Master of Computer Application and Master of Business Administration. The institute also supports research and development activities and offers PhD research centres.

The institution is accredited by the NBA for 6 UG Programs (CSE, ISE, ECE, Civil, ME and EEE), and NAAC with an ‘A’ Grade. The institute is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum, approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Recognized by the Government of Karnataka.

Scholarships Offered

PESITM offers scholarships to deserving students based on their academic merit in entrance exams.

• 100% tuition fee waiver for students with a CET rank of 1-5000.
• 50% tuition fee waiver for students with a CET rank of 5001-10000.

Entrance Exam Accepting Details

Admissions to various programs at PESITM are based on performance in state and national-level entrance exams.

• For B.E. programs: The college accepts scores from the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), and JEE Main.
• For M.B.A. and M.C.A. programs: Admission is based on scores from Karnataka PGCET, KMAT, or other equivalent national-level tests.

Student Life & Extracurricular Activities

The highest CTC was ₹8 LPA, while the average CTC was ₹3.3 LPA.
