OJEE Entrance Exam 2025

Consequent upon the provisions of the Odisha Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act,2007, the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee was formed on recommendation of Policy Planning Body with due approval by the Government (Skill Development and Technical Education Department ) 

The endeavour of the OJEE Committee has always been directed towards conducting Entrance Examinations and providing a fair, transparent and single window admission process for various professional Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses in the State adopting effective state-of-the-art technology.

For the 2025–2026 academic session, the Committee will conduct the Joint Entrance Examination for Undergraduate courses such as B.Pharm, B.CAT, Basic B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic Diploma Nursing, Lateral Entry to B.Tech, Lateral Entry to B.Pharm and Postgraduate courses like MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Pharm, Integrated MBA, M.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Computer Science in various Universities, Govt. Colleges and Self-Financed Institutes in the State.

Furthermore, the Committee will conduct the counselling-cum-admission process for admission to all the above mentioned courses in addition to the B. Tech, B. Arch. and B. Plan courses basing on the All India Rank of Odisha State candidates in the JEE (MAIN) – 2025.

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Nationality

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Candidates applying for Odisha state quota seats must be permanent residents of Odisha.

Educational Qualification

  • B.Tech (Lateral Entry): Diploma holders with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
  • B.Pharm: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).
  • MBA: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
  • MCA: Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level and at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
  • M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Pharm: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

Age Limit

  • No age limit for MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, and M.Pharm.
  • For B.Tech Lateral Entry and B.Pharm, candidates must be at least 17 years old

The OJEE syllabus varies based on the chosen course.

B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

  • Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus
  • Engineering Mechanics: Forces, Equilibrium, Friction
  • Basic Electrical Engineering: Circuits, Transformers, Induction Motors

B.Pharm

  • Physics: Laws of Motion, Electricity, Magnetism
  • Chemistry: Organic & Inorganic Chemistry, Chemical Bonding
  • Mathematics/Biology: Probability, Statistics, Genetics, Human Physiology

MBA

  • Quantitative Techniques: Algebra, Arithmetic, Data Interpretation
  • Logical Reasoning: Puzzles, Syllogisms, Coding-Decoding
  • Verbal Ability: Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension
  • General Awareness: Business, Economy, Current Affairs

M.Tech, M.Arch, M.Plan, M.Pharm

  • Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct answer, -1 for each wrong answer.

Steps to Apply

  1. Registration: Visit the official website and register with an email ID and phone number.
  2. Filling Application Form: Enter personal, academic, and contact details.
  3. Uploading Documents: Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature.
  4. Fee Payment: Pay the fee via debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
