CEETA PG is a state-level entrance test conducted by Anna University to offer admission to postgraduate programs. Based on CEETA PG scores and the counselling process, candidates are allotted seats for M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, and M.Plan programmes at the following universities –
- Anna Univesity Regional Campuses and University Colleges Engineering
- Annamalai University
- Government Engineering Colleges through Centralised Single Window Online-Counselling
In addition, government-funded engineering colleges and technical institutions funded by the Central Government affiliated with Anna University can participate in the CEETA PG 2025 admissions. A few self-financing engineering colleges also use CEETA PG scores for admission.

CEETA PG 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Anna University will announce the CEETA PG 2025 eligibility criteria on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. Candidates applying for the CEETA PG 2025 admissions, must meet the eligibility criteria mentioned below. The CEETA PG eligibility for ME/MTech/MPlan/MArch admissions is below.
(i) Hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum score of 50% (General category) or 45% (reserved categories)
(1) BE/BTech/BArch degree
(2) Master’s Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts
(3) BPharm
(4) 10 + 2 + AMIE (with 2 years experience)
(5) 10 + 3-year diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE (with 2 years experience)
(ii) Candidates in their final year/semester of the degree courses during their academic year, except for courses offered by a Professional Institution like AMIE, can apply for CEETA PG 2024.
(iii) GATE candidates who want admission under CEET PG must appear for CEETA PG to be considered for admission.
(iv) Candidates with a valid GATE score in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with qualifying marks for assistantship in XE (Engineering Science) or XL (Life Science) papers are eligible to appear for CEETA PG 2025.
(v) Candidates from other states may also be eligible to appear for the entrance test, subject to the conditions set by the admitting authority/university.
CEETA PG 2025 Application Form
Registration: 24 Jan ’25 -21 Feb ’25
The CEETA PG 2025 application form has been released on January 24, 2025. The last date to submit the CEETA PG application form is February 21, 2025. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply. The form is online and must be submitted before the due date. Details entered on the application form had to be carefully checked before submission. Care should be taken with the information provided. Incorrect information may result in rejection and disciplinary action. Only online applications will be considered, and applications received through other means will be rejected.
