JAC Delhi 2025 Counselling: The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) will start the JAC Delhi counselling process 2025 in May 2025. The JAC Delhi 2025 counselling will be held in five rounds and one spot round. The complete JAC Delhi 2025 counselling schedule will be made available on the official website, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. The counselling process in each round includes registrations, choice filling, seat allotment, payment of the seat acceptance fee and physical reporting at the respective institute.

JAC Delhi 2025 eligibility criteria are given below:

Eligibility as Per Region

  • Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats): Aspirants passing the qualifying exam from a recognized School / College / Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for the Delhi Region only.
  • Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% of seats): Aspirants passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College /Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

Note: If the centre of examination is located in the N.C.T. of Delhi, the aspirant shall be considered under the Delhi Region and if the centre of examination is located outside N.C.T. of Delhi, he/she shall be considered under the Outside Delhi Region.

Eligibility as per Qualifying Examination

Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination from any one of the following boards:

  • Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
  • Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
  • Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of CBSE.

Age Criteria

No maximum or minimum age criteria are prescribed.

Note: Aspirants who have appeared at the annual exam in the year 2025 and have been placed in the compartment will not be eligible for admission for the year 2025.

The following minimum marks requirements in the qualifying exam are prescribed. Check institute-wise minimum marks requirements below:

BE/BTech Course at DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, DSEU and Dual Degree (BTech+MBA) at IGDTUWA candidate securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and having passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) will be considered eligible for admission to the first semester of BTech/BE course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.
BTech Course at IIIT DA candidate who has secured 80% or more marks in the aggregate of the best of five subjects including Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 80% or more in Mathematics in the qualifying examination will be considered eligible.
BArch Course at IGDTUW and NSUTA candidate will be considered eligible for admission to the First Year of the BArch Course if she has secured 50% or more marks in aggregate, has passed Mathematics as a subject in the Senior School Certificate Level Examination and also qualifies for the JEE (Main) Paper-2 exam.

Aspirants belonging to various reserved categories namely OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and sub-categories namely Defence, Differently Abled Person, who apply for seats reserved for them, shall be allowed a concession in the minimum marks criteria as mentioned below:

For DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT and DSEU only:

  • Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 55%
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST): 50%
  • Defence (CW): 55%
  • Differently Abled Person (PD): 50%

For IIIT-D only:

  • Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL): 65%
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST): 60%
  • Defence(CW): 65%
  • Differently Abled Person (PD): 65%

The JAC Delhi 2025 syllabus will be operational applying the most basic principles that students have an appreciation for and are competent in key subjects typical to those in engineering programs. In which the candidate’s knowledge will be measured includes:

  1. Physics
  2. Chemistry
  3. Mathematics
  4. English

It is essential to review and master certain themes within each subject in order to qualify for the exam.

Total marks for the paper would be 100, with each of the above subjects carrying the tally of respective marks as mentioned above in the table. The pattern of the JAC Delhi 2025 exam ‘x’’ will consist of MCQ and a few one word answer questions about the English language.

JAC Delhi is a counselling program for students who want to pursue BE/BTech and BArch degree programs in Delhi. It is conducted for admission to 5 technical universities/institutes that are part of the Government of NCT Delhi. These include Delhi Technological University (DTU), Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-D), Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU), and Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT). The entire counselling process is done online. The program was created by the government of NCT Delhi to make it easier for students and their families to avoid multiple admission processes and the inconvenience of shifting to different institutions during the admission process.

Payment of Counselling Fee

To begin with, aspirants will be required to pay a non-refundable registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs. 1400/- (excluding bank charge). The fee can be paid online as well as offline modes. Check details here.

Online Registration

After the successful payment of the counseling fee, aspirants will have to visit the JAC Delhi registration portal and navigate to the New Registration link. To access the online registration form, aspirants will have to enter their Roll number of JEE Main, Date of Birth, Nationality, and Result status of Class 10+2. Besides entering these details, candidates will also have to other basic details and upload their photo (not more than 40 KB) and signature (20 KB) in JPEG format.

Log in to JAC Account

Upon logging in to your JAC account, aspirants will be able to see their registration details and available choices and filled-in choices.

Under Registration details, aspirants will be able to edit/make corrections/update the information entered into the system.

Under Available Choices, aspirants will be able to see information related to institute and branch-wise availability of seats. Here, all the choices filled in by candidates will also be displayed.

Choice Filling

Aspirants who have successfully paid the registration-cum-counselling fee will have to fill in the choices of branches and institutes. They would be required to select from the options available basis their eligibility.

The options need to be entered in order of their preference. Aspirants are advised to enter the maximum number of choices to be able to have a better chance at admission. Before filling out the choices, aspirants should check the fee structure and available branches of every institute.

 To be considered for admission, the candidate needs to have qualified JEE Main 2025. However, depending on whether the candidate wants to pursue B.E. / B.Tech program or B. Arch, the requirement may vary as to which paper the candidate needs to appear.

 The seat allotment of JAC Delhi 2025 will commence after the choice-filling period ends. Eligible candidates will be considered for JAC Delhi 2025 seat allotment, apart from other parameters, based on their All India Merit Rank in JEE Main 2025. For admission to B.E./B. For tech courses, merit in JEE Main 2025 Paper 1 will be considered, while for the B.Arch course, merit in Paper II will be taken into account. JAC Delhi 2025 seat allotment will be conducted in six rounds, but if there are vacant seats left, a Spot round will be conducted.

The result of the JAC Delhi 2025 seat allotment would be announced by the admission committee after the end of each round of counseling, as per the counseling schedule. To check JAC Delhi result 2025, the candidate may log into his/her account. If the seat has been allotted, a provisional seat allotment letter would be sent to the candidate, which the candidate must download and get a printout of. The allotment of seats is purely provisional and is subject to verification of documents and payment of the applicable admission fee. To log in, the candidates have to use their JEE Main Roll Number and password chosen at the time of registration.

The cutoff of JAC Delhi 2025 would be prepared institute-wise and would be determined based on the choices entered by the candidate, apart from the JEE Main 2025 All India Rank of the candidate. The JAC Delhi 2025 cutoff may vary from one branch to another and also across institutes, depending on multiple factors like the number of sanctioned seats, applications received for admission, and cutoff trends of previous years.

 There are four participating institutes of JAC Delhi that offer admission to B.E /B.Tech and B.Arch courses. Of the four institutes, only IGDTUW offers B.Arch courses and that too to only female candidates. DTU and IIIT-D, both offer B.Tech courses. The last of the four JAC Delhi 2025 participating institutes, NSIT offers B.E programs.

 Documents Required

Candidates have to report at the Allotted Institutes for Document Verification Process. Candidates have to carry payment receipt, relevant documents for Verification. Candidates should report at the allotted institute within the given date & time, failing to attend will lead to cancellation of seat.
