Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admission to its B. Tech programs across various campuses in India. It is one of the major engineering entrance exams in India, providing an opportunity for students to study in a reputed private university.
AEEE is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University), which is a NAAC A++ accredited and NIRF-ranked university with multiple campuses across India.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for AEEE, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have passed or appeared for the 12th standard (or equivalent) exam with a minimum of 60% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- A minimum of 55% is required in each subject (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry).
- Age Limit:
- Candidates must have been born on or after July 1, 2003.
Exam Pattern
- Mode of Exam: Online (CBT) & Offline (PBT)
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes)
- Total Questions: 100
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Marking Scheme:
- +3 marks for each correct answer
- -1 mark for each incorrect answer
- No marks deducted for unattempted questions

Exam Syllabus
The AEEE syllabus is based on CBSE Class 11 & 12 syllabus. The subjects included are:

- Trigonometry, Matrices & Determinants, Probability, Calculus, Vectors, Differential Equations, etc.
- Physics:
- Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism, Optics, Modern Physics, Thermodynamics, etc.
- Chemistry:
- Physical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Environmental Chemistry, etc.
- English:
- Grammar, Comprehension, and Vocabulary
Exam Mode & Phases
- AEEE is usually conducted in multiple phases (Phase 1 and Phase 2).
- Candidates can choose to appear for one or both phases.
- Best score among multiple attempts will be considered.
