The Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnic (JEXPO) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVESD). This exam is for students seeking admission into diploma courses in engineering, technology, and other technical fields in various polytechnic institutes in West Bengal.

JEXPO 2025 Application Form
Candidates will be able to apply from last week of February 2025.
West Bengal Polytechnic 2025 application form will be available through online mode.
An applicant should ensure that they must satisfy the eligibility requirements before filling the application.
Under no circumstances, any changes in details filled in application form will be permitted.
Scanned images of photograph & signature should be uploaded in prescribed format.
The JEXPO 2025 registration window will be opened till second week of April 2025.
Candidates should download the filled in application form for further use.
Application Fee:
The application fee will be paid using online mode only.
Debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI will be available for online fee payment.

JEXPO 2025 Eligibility Criteria
For Diploma in Engineering & Technology:
Qualifying Exam: Madhyamik or equivalent from any recognized Board/ Council/ Institute.
Candidates appearing in 10th or equivalent exam in 2025 may also apply.
Age Limit: Candidate DOB should not be after 1st July 2010. No upper age limit prescribed by the authority.
Subject: Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects are necessary.
For Diploma in 3 Dimensional Animation & Graphics:
Gender: Only female candidates can apply for this programme.
Qualifying Exam: Passed 10th/SSC or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
Age Limit: Date of Birth should not be after 1st July 2010.
JEXPO 2025 Exam Pattern
Duration: The exam duration will be total two hours.
Mode: JEXPO exam will be conducted through pen and paper based mode.
Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Questions will be answered on specially designed machine gradable OMR sheet.
Subject: Questions will be asked from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English & Aptitude.
Marking Scheme: One mark will be given for each correct answer and there will be no negative marking.

JEXPO 2025 Syllabus
Candidates preparing for the exam must consider the syllabus prescribed by the authority. The syllabus will be of madhyamik or equivalent exam level. Some topics from the JEXPO Syllabus 2025 are mentioned below:
