UPJEE 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE) or JEECUP 2025 is a state-level exam for admission to polytechnic courses in Uttar Pradesh. The exam will be held online from May 20–28, 2025. 

Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed class 10 and 10+2 from a recognized board 
• Applicants must be a minimum of 14 years of age as of July 01, 2025 

Exam pattern 

• The exam will be a computer-based test with 100 multiple-choice questions
• The exam will be 150 minutes long
• Candidates will receive 4 marks for each correct answer and lose 1 mark for each incorrect answer

Application process

• The online application process for JEECUP 2025 began on January 15, 2025 
• The last date to apply is April 30, 2025 
• The application form link is available on the official website, jeecup.admissions.nic.in

ApplicatIon Form Submission: Open until April 30, 2025

• Admit Card Release: May 14, 2025
• Exam Date: Expected in May 2025 
• Answer Key Release: June 2-4, 2025
• Result Announcement: June 10, 2025

Exam Format

• Mode: Online (CBT – Computer-Based Test)
• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Subjects Covered:
  • Engineering/Technology Courses: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • Other Courses: Subjects vary (e.g., Agriculture, Fashion Design, Hotel Management)
• Marking Scheme:
  • +4 Marks for each correct answer
  • -1 Mark for each incorrect answer

• Admissions are based on JEECUP rank, and cutoff marks vary yearly.
