Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) is a premier autonomous engineering institution located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Established in 1979 by the late Sri R. Dayananda Sagar, it operates under the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust (MGVP). The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The University was started as a part of Dayananda Sagar Institutions which was founded in the 60s by the late Shri Dayananda Sagar. The DSU main campus is also known as the Harohalli Campus and the other one is the DSU, City Innovation Campus, located at Kudlu Gate. It is accredited with NAAC A+ grade and owns IIRF 2024 national ranking of 9 in Top Private Universities in India (Overall category). The University ranks 3 in state and 3 in south zone rank by IIRF 2024. Dayananda Sagar University has been recognised by UGC as a private university. Application Process:

  1. Register for the Entrance Exam: Eligible candidates must register and appear for either KCET or COMEDK UGET.
  2. Counseling and Seat Allotment: Based on the entrance exam ranks, candidates participate in the counseling process, during which seats are allotted according to preference and availability.
