MVJ College of Engineering (MVJCE), established in 1982, is a private institution affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). M.V.J. College of Engineering Scholarships

• Dr. M.V.Jayaraman Foundation Scholarship:
  
  Scholarship will be considered for only one academic year. To avail the scholarship for the next academic year, the student needs to submit the renewal application form, along with the necessary documents, 2 weeks before the commencement of the odd semester.
  
  The following terms need to be satisfied by the applicants:
  To renew the scholarship, the candidates need to score CGPA as given below every semester-
  a) Merit 1 – CGPA > 7.8
  b) Merit 2 – CGPA > 7.0
  c) Merit 3 – CGPA > 6.0
  
  Note:
  – Any new application or renewal application of the scholarship after the due date will be rejected.
  – The candidates need to re-apply, along with the result documents duly attested by the Principal.
  – If any student fails to score CGPA as per the Merit structure in an academic year, he/she will not be eligible to apply for a scholarship in the next academic year. Such students need to pay the regular Tuition Fee and College Fee as per the Management Quota.
  – The student needs to have 85% attendance in all the subjects.
  – The student should not have been involved in any activity which is in the nature of indiscipline or tarnishing the reputation of the institution.
  – If the scholarship beneficiary discontinues his/her course, the complete benefit of the scholarship
  
  The MVJCE Scholarship Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any Scholarship Application.

Placements:

• Placement Rate: In the 2022 placement season, the B.Tech programs achieved an 84% placement rate, while M.Tech programs had a 91% placement rate. 
• Highest Package: The highest salary package offered was ₹20 lakh per annum. 
• Average Package: The average salary package offered was ₹4 lakh per annum. 
• Top Recruiters: Students have been placed in multinational companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, TCS, and Airbus. 
• The placements are concluded for the batch passed out in 2023. As per the latest report, the highest package offered during MVJ College of Engineering placements 2023 stood at INR 27.70 LPA. Further, the average package offered ranged between INR 5.60 LPA and INR 7 LPA. The top recruiters of MVJ College of Engineering placements in 2023 included TCS, Cognizant, Dell, SAP, Tally Solutions, MuSigma, Simens, Mercedes, etc.

Entrance Exams and Cutoffs:

• Undergraduate Admissions: Candidates are required to have completed their 10+2 education with a minimum of 45% marks. Admissions are based on entrance exams such as KCET, JEE Main, COMEDK UGET, and AMPCK. 
• Postgraduate Admissions: For M.Tech programs, candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree and qualify in exams like GATE or Karnataka PGCET. MBA admissions consider scores from entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, KMAT, or Karnataka PGCET.
